French Toast Coffee Smoothie

Ingredients (makes 2)

  • Single Classic Liège Belgian waffle
  • 1 Package French Toast Sugar
  • 2 Medium frozen bananas (sliced and frozen at least 1 1/2 hours)
  • ¼ Cup Old Fashioned oats
  • 1 Tablespoon almond butter
  • ¼ Cup milk of almond milk
  • ¼ Cup espresso
  • ½ Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 Fresh lemon for rimming glass
  • 1 Fresh strawberry, cut in half, for garnish
  • 1 Cup ice


  1. Thaw 1 Classic Liège Belgian waffle, cut into cubes, and place on skewers for garnish. Set aside.
  2. Place bananas, oats, almond butter, almond milk, espresso, vanilla extract, and maple syrup in a blender.
  3. Blend on high until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  4. Juice 1/2 lemon and pour the lemon juice onto a small plate. Take your glasses and dip them into the lemon juice. Gently shake the glass.
  5. While the lemon juice is still moist, rim the glasses with French Toast Sugar.
  6. Pour in smoothie.
  7. Garnish with a skewer made of waffle cube and strawberry.
  8. Enjoy!
