Preheat the oven to 425° and prepare FourSeam Buns according to instructions. Season with Hickory Smoked BBQ Pretzel Salt prior to heating.
Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Add beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking apart into crumbles as you go. Transfer to colander and drain.
Add onion and bell pepper to the same skillet and cook 2-3 minutes, until soft. Add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add beef back to the skillet, then add tomato paste. Stir well.
Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce/red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine.
Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, until mixture has thickened to your liking. Remove from heat and serve over toasted FourSeam buns.
