Strawberry Jam Filled Pretzels

Strawberry Jam Filled Pretzels
  • SlidePiece Soft Pretzel Slider Buns, warmed per instructions 1 Bag
  • Strawberry Sugar 1 Package
  • Butter, melted 2 Tablespoons
  • Fresh strawberries, rinsed, hulled and halved 2 Pounds
  • Raw honey ½ Cup
  • Lemon zest 1 Teaspoon
  • Lemon juice 2-3 Tablespoons
  • 1.

    If SlidePiece Soft Pretzel Slider Buns are frozen, preheat oven to 400 degrees. If thawed, preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  • 2.

    Place 6 SlidePieces on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons Strawberry Sugar.

  • 3.

    If frozen, bake for 6 to 8 minutes. If thawed, bake for 3 to 5 minutes. Let cool.

  • 4.

    Place strawberries in a pot. Add in honey, lemon juice and zest. Toss to incorporate.

  • 5.

    Warm the pot on medium heat, cover and cook for 10 minutes.

  • 6.

    Use a spoon to mash strawberries as they start to break down. Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Take off heat and let cool.

  • 7.

    Using a small round cookie cutter, hollow out the center of the SlidePiece. Be sure to save the cored crust that serves as a topper for the hollowed section.

  • 8.

    Fill the hollowed out SlidePiece center with jam. Top the hollowed core with the leftover crust to seal the jam in the SlidePiece.

Italian Baked Cheese Dip

Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat small (about 2½ cup) oven-proof baking dish with cooking spray. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl with electric mixer until light and airy, about 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup ricotta cheese and beat for a minute. Add White Cheddar Cheese Sauce and beat for another minute. Add 4 teaspoons of basil, pepper and salt. Add 1 cup of cheddar and breadcrumbs. Beat until blended. Spread mixture in prepared dish. Top with remaining ¼ cup of cheddar. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until heated through but not bubbling. Serve warm, topped with tomatoes, red onions and remaining basil. Heat pretzels as directed and ENJOY!
