Topknot Burger In A Hole

Topknot Burger In A Hole
  • Our Topknot Pretzels, thawed 1
  • Our Everything Spice
  • Ground beef 1/3 pound
  • Egg 1
  • Smoked salmon ⅛ pound
  • Avocado ½
  • Red onion, sliced ¼ cup
  • Cream cheese 1 tablespoon
  • Capers 1 teaspoon
  • chives for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Brush Topknot with butter and sprinkle over Everything Spice, then bake according to our heating instructions.

    In a medium bowl, gently mix ground beef, salt and pepper. Form into one patty the size and shape of the center of your Topknot.

    Warm up your grill, if using a propane grill heat to 400 degrees. Cook burger for 5-10 minutes (depending on how well done you prefer). Place cooked patty into pretzel hole.

  • 4.

    Heat small skillet to medium heat, crack the egg into the pan and cover with a lid. Let cook until egg whites set.

  • 5.

    Transfer pretzel with patty to plate, top patty with egg and garnish with smoked salmon, onion, avocado, cream cheese, capers and chives.

You've never had a burger like this before. We took the idea behind the breakfast favorite Egg In A Hole and gave it a dinnertime upgrade.

  • ½ avocado
  • ¼ cup red onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • chives for garnish

Italian Baked Cheese Dip

Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat small (about 2½ cup) oven-proof baking dish with cooking spray. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl with electric mixer until light and airy, about 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup ricotta cheese and beat for a minute. Add White Cheddar Cheese Sauce and beat for another minute. Add 4 teaspoons of basil, pepper and salt. Add 1 cup of cheddar and breadcrumbs. Beat until blended. Spread mixture in prepared dish. Top with remaining ¼ cup of cheddar. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until heated through but not bubbling. Serve warm, topped with tomatoes, red onions and remaining basil. Heat pretzels as directed and ENJOY!
