Ingredients
- 1 Bag SlidePiece Soft Pretzel Slider Buns
- 1 Teaspoon Classic Pretzel Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Strawberry Sugar
- 14 Ounces goat cheese
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- ⅓ Cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 ½ Tablespoon granulated sugar
- 12 Ounces strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 Bunch basil leaves for garnish
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. If frozen, thaw SlidePiece Soft Pretzel Buns.
- Cut thawed SlidePieces into 4 slices (approximately 1/4 inch thick).
- Place SlidePiece slices on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle some with Classic Pretzel Salt and some with Strawberry Sugar.
- Bake for 3-5 minutes or until crispy. Remove and let cool.
- Meanwhile, combine goat cheese, cream cheese, and honey in a food processor and process until fluffy and smooth. Grease a small baking dish with olive oil and scrape in goat cheese mixture. Using a spoon, smooth goat cheese into an even layer.
- In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and sugar over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until vinegar is slightly syrupy and coats the back of a spoon, about 10 minutes. Let cool.
- Place goat cheese dip in the oven and bake until lightly browned on top, 10-12 minutes.
- Stir together strawberries and basil in a small bowl. Spoon berries on top of the baked goat cheese dip. Drizzle the balsamic reduction on top.
- Serve with SlidePiece pretzel chips.
