I placed two individual orders within 5 minutes of each other. Both orders shipped the following day. My first order was sent via FedEx and was received within 3 days. However the other order was sent via USPS and it took 6 days to arrive. Way too long since this is a perishable item. Are your soft pretzels nut-free?
Eastern Standard Provisions’ artisanal soft pretzels are completely free of peanuts, peanut oils, all tree nuts, sesame, and shellfish.
NOTE: Our hard pretzels are packaged on equipment that is shared with peanut and tree nut products. Additionally, our gift and variety boxes are packed in a facility that handles nut products. We also want to make mention that our fulfillment centers do store products that contain peanuts, however, these items are sealed and kept separate from our waffles and pretzels.
How do I prepare my soft pretzel products?
Soft pretzels can be prepared from frozen or from thawed. For complete warming instructions, click here.
Do my soft pretzels arrive pre-salted?
All of our soft pretzels come uncoated (no salt or sugar toppings). We provide our salt in a resealable bag, so you can add as much or as little as you would prefer.
My products are thawed when they arrived? Are they okay to eat and/or re-freeze?
Our soft pretzels ship from frozen, thaw during transit. They will arrive thawed, which is To extend the shelf life, place the pretzel products in your freezer for up to 6 months.
Our soft pretzels, shipped while frozen, and thaw while in transit. Once thawed, they will be fresh for up to 7 days before needing to be placed back in the freezer, after which point they are good for 12 months. If you have not received your package by the seventh day please do reach out and we will assist you further.
I just placed my order online. When will I receive my shipment?
Most of our products are fulfilled and shipped Monday through Friday within 1 to 2 business days after the order is placed. All of our products are sent via priority mail, and take an additional 1 to 3 days to arrive after your order is picked up by the mail carrier.
After your product is shipped, you will receive an email with your order confirmation and tracking details.
Our products are shipped flow wrapped and shipped frozen. Your gourmet snacks will most likely arrive thawed and ready to heat, eat, and enjoy. If you don’t plan on enjoying your gourmet snacks immediately after arrival, please place your soft pretzels and waffles in the freezer so they stay fresh!
Please note, our fulfillment and shipping may vary depending on holidays.
Do you ship with dry ice or freezer packs?
We do not ship our products with dry ice or freezer packs. Our soft pretzels are made to withstand up to 7 days before needing to be refrozen.
Can Eastern Standard Provisions ship outside of the United States?
Due to the perishable nature of our pretzels and waffles, we currently only ship our gourmet snacks in the United States - including Alaska and Hawaii.
Can I add multiple shipping locations within a single order?
Yes, to start this process during checkout, select "ship to multiple addresses" at the top of your cart. Then follow the prompts for selecting shipping addresses for each order.
Can I delay my shipment?
Yes! To delay shipping for your order, click the shopping cart button. At the bottom of the first checkout page, click "Please delay my shipment.” From here you can enter the date you would like your order to ship from us. Please note that due to the perishable nature of our product we only ship Monday-Friday.
Please note, the date you select is NOT the delivery date, but rather the date your package will be shipped.
Can I cancel, edit, or change my order after placing it?
There is a 24-hour period in which you can request a cancellation, edit, or change to your order! If requests are not submitted within 24 hours, you will incur a replacement fee or cancellation fee.
How do I apply a BOGO discount code at checkout?
To apply this code properly, you will need to put two identical orders of product in your cart, then apply the specific discount code. For example, a BOGO on One-Timer Soft Pretzel Bites will require you to add 2 orders to your cart then apply the BOGO code. This will result in 1 paid package and 1 package for free! Note: BOGO promotion codes cannot be combined with any other promotional discount codes.
Why is my promotion code not valid?
To apply a promotion code at checkout, make sure you are taking the following steps:
Check to see if the promo code is inputting correctly (spelling, capitalization, numbers, etc.)
Make sure your promo code applies to the specific items in your cart
Don’t combine promo codes during the checkout process
Double check the quantity of the items being purchased. If you are trying to use a BOGO code, make sure the quantity of the specific product equals 2

Each replacement is considered on a case-by-case basis, however, each member of our team will check the basic order details to ensure the proper fulfillment status of each order. Factors such as transit time, damages, product perishment, or mail carrier issues can determine if the order is eligible for a complimentary replacement. All other cases are subject to a fee of $9.99 to be paid for replacement orders.
