Spiked Hot Apple Cider

This cozy, boozy drink will get you through the coldest of winter days, whether you're sipping it by the fire or after a day in the snow. With a sugared rim featuring our French Toast Sugar, this warm adult beverage would even be at home with a festive brunch. Save the mimosas for summer time.

Ingredients:

1 Package French Toast Sugar
1 gallon unfiltered apple juice or apple cider
1 large Cara Cara orange, cut into 1/4” slices
3 cinnamon sticks
4 star anise
1 tbsp. whole cloves
1 tbsp. whole allspice
1” ginger root, sliced
1 1/2 cups spiced rum

Cooking Instructions:

In a large pot, add apple juice, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, whole cloves, whole allspice, and ginger root.
Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce to simmer for 2-3 hours.
Add rum to the apple cider mixture.
Remove fruit and spices from the pot.
Rim glass with French Toast Sugar
Garnish with anise and cinnamon and serve!

What could be a better seasonal comfort food combo than Maple Apple Butter and delicious artisanal soft pretzels? If you've been apple picking recently, you likely have more apples than you know what to do with, so this recipe (plus the fact that our pretzels will be delivered right to your front door) makes for a convenient snack, too.

Ingredients:

SlidePiece Soft Pretzel Sliders and One-Timer Soft Pretzel Bites, prepared according to instructions.
French Toast Sugar, for topping
6 1/2 pounds apples peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup maple sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Place the apples in a slow cooker.
Add maple sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt to the cooker and mix together.
Cook on low for 10 hours, stirring every couple hours. The apple butter should be dark brown and thick.
Remove from slow cooker, and blend until apple butter is smooth.
Bake the SlidePiece and Pretzel Bites following our instructions, brushing pretzels with butter and topping with French Toast Sugar.

A delicious cocktail where you can munch on the glass once you're done with your drink? Count us in. Our take on seasoned, spiked cider puts our French Toast Sugar to good use while bringing together all the best elements of the cozy Fall season in one yummy and edible cup.

Ingredients:

French Toast Sugar
6 apples, hollowed
2 shots of apple pie liqueur
2 shots of vanilla vodka
1 cup of unfiltered apple juice
1/2 teaspoon of allspice
Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Maple Syrup, for garnish

Cooking Instructions:

Pour French Toast Sugar onto a clean plate, and wet rim of apple cups with maple syrup. Place mouth of apple cup into sugar for a garnished rim.
Fill metal shaker with ice, apple pie liqueur, vanilla vodka, apple juice, and allspice. Shake well.
Pour cider into apple cups, garnish with cinnamon sticks, and enjoy!

Ordering And Shipping

Given the perishable nature of our products, we only ship Monday through Friday.

After you submit your order online, it takes 1 to 2 business days to process your order for shipping. All of our shipments are sent via USPS, FedEx, or UPS and takes an additional 2 to 4 days to arrive after your order is shipped.

Please note that our soft pretzels are shipped frozen and intended to thaw in transit. So don’t be concerned when your pretzels arrive thawed. They are sent with priority shipping and are intended to arrive within 3-4 days of leaving our facility, but they will stay fresh for up to 7 days before needing to be refrozen.

If your delivery takes a little longer than expected due to carrier delays, don’t worry. Our soft pretzels are made with all-natural preservatives to ensure their freshness. But it’s important that you open the box upon arrival and either enjoy the pretzels right away or immediately freeze them to preserve their freshness. They will not stay fresh in the box, on the counter, or in the refrigerator. They must be RE-FROZEN.

Due to the perishable nature of our pretzels, we currently only ship our pretzels in the United States.

If your order has not been filled, packed, and/or shipped you can change your order. Please contact customer service to revise your order as soon as possible.
